Day 14

Today is Global Meetings Industry Day(GMID). While our industry is down, we are certainly not out! The presence today on LinkedIn was amazing. I loved seeing people share what they were doing today. I spent time on some webinars organized by the Events Industry Council as well as MPI and the hopefully we broke the record for the largest virtual meeting! 

There is a lot of sadness right now but also a lot of hope and positivity going around. A roller coaster of emotions was a popular theme on the calls today. It was so great to reach out and connect with others even if it was over the computer. I liked more comments on LinkedIn than I have ever done and it was nice to see so many great things going on in the newsfeeds.

What did you do today to try and stay positive?

Abby posted pics of her beautiful Texas Bluebonnets in bloom, so glad she shared those. When we lived in Austin that was always such a nice treat to see them bloom. I sure do miss Texas sometimes! Anyway, I hope that you are did something today that made today a little brighter, and if not, there is still time!
